Technical Pre-Sales Support Engineer


Our client, a leader in remote access software, is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Support Engineer to provide support and guidance to potential customers and clients. Working closely with both the Sales and Product team, you will give demos and provide recommendations to customers, while also collecting feedback and designing solutions that improve the Company’s offering.

Responsibilities of the Technical Pre-Sales Support Engineer:

  • Providing pre-sales support to potential leads, including:
  • Product demos
  • Advice on best practice to help customers make the most of their software
  • Supporting new product launches and updates
  • Responding to customer requests for proposals
  • Listening to feedback and feature requests, and sharing these with the Product team
  • Handing over post-sale enquiries to the appropriate members of the Product team
  • Providing training internally for employees, as well as externally for partners and clients
  • Representing the Company at events and tradeshows

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar Sales or Support focused role, or at an IT / Software Helpdesk
  • An excellent communicator and team player, comfortable with both listening and presenting
  • The ability to explain technical information to different audiences
  • Knowledge of common Operating Systems (Linux, Mac, Windows) and other important technology (Microsoft Group Policy and Networking)
  • Comfortable building relationships remotely
