Scientific Field Sales Account Manager

Overview

We are on the search for a Scientific Field Sales Account Manager for one of our clients, a successful supplier to the life science community with a broad range of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for life science and a unique ability to communicate technical topics in a straightforward manner.

The core responsibility of this role is to identify and engage prospective customers through extensive research, reviews, and various communication channels such as presentations, conferences, customer training, and wet laboratory demonstrations as needed.

This role requires the Scientific Field Sales Account Manager to make customer visits 3-4 days per week. The position includes a car, laptop, phone, and an attractive benefits package.

Key Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Customer-focused with a keen interest in consultation.
  • Solid laboratory experience.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strategic problem-solving abilities.
  • BSc Degree / MSc Masters / PhD in a life science subject.
  • Knowledge of antibodies, proteins, small molecules, immunoassays, molecular biology reagents, general laboratory reagents, inhibitors, and cell culture reagents.
  • A driving licence is required for this position.

Desired Experience:

  • Previous work in a Scientific Sales role.
  • PhD or substantial Lab experience if holding a BSc or MSc degree.
