Customer Support Representative


My client has successfully developed software over the past 20 years and during 2020, their product has become increasingly in demand by it’s users and new customers. They are looking for a confident and self-motivated Customer Support Representative to join their organisation and assist with customer support by offing general customer service as well as 1st line support .

The role will require the Customer Support Representative to act as the first point of contact, follow up on customer enquires, as well as escalating issues to the technical team. My client will invest time in training and developing the Customer Support Representative so that they have the relevant skills to perform this role well and progress within the company.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem Solving / 1st Line Support / Troubleshooting
  • Provide Customer Service
  • A passion to help customers is key

Experience desired from applicants for the Customer Support Representative:

  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Upbeat personality
  • Desire to learn
  • Strong team player
  • Troubleshooting customer queries via web, live chat and phone calls
  • Experience of working for a high-tech / software / technology company
  • Previously worked in 1st Line Support, or Customer Service / Support

This role will begin as a remote job, but the successful candidate must be able to eventually work from their office based in central Cambridge.
