C++ Developer


Due to successful company growth my client is looking for an organised and experienced back-end C++ Developer. The role comes with responsibility for evolving their high-performance core technology, therefore it is essential that the successful candidate has a real investment in the full cycle. This role lends itself to someone who remains ahead of the curve within the audio technology industry and can implement this into their work.

The role will require the C++ Developer to work closely with the research and development (R&D) team, for software strategies and new technology within the audio market. It is essential that the applicant also has strong knowledge within the design of algorithms and software, alongside problem tracking and software version control.

Key Skills Required for the C++ Developer:

  • A minimum of 2 years work experience within a C++ Developer role
  • Local to Cambridge Head Office or within a commutable distance
  • Professional and approachable communication, due to contact with clients and other internal teams
  • Working with algorithms and technology within audio recognition
  • Identify and prioritise work duties, to ensure all completed within agreed time deadlines
  • Ability to generate and maintain clear and informative documentation to support work and research being completed

Experience desired from applicants for the C++ Developer

  • Would also consider candidates from a Physics or Mathematics background
  • Keen interest in Science or Research and Development (R&D)
  • Skills within any of the following: C/Java, CI/CD Systems, Matlab/Python, Mobile Development, and Lniux/Unix

Company Benefits

  • £40,000 – £50,000 DOE
  • Permanent; Full Time hours Monday to Friday
