Application Engineer

Overview

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Application Engineer who can deliver exceptional pre and post-sale customer support. This opportunity is with a rapidly growing organisation based in Cambridgeshire, known for its successful track record. As an Application Engineer, you will be joining a team of professionals that provide technical support to customers through demonstrations, phone consultations, and occasional site visits within the UK, Europe, and the US.

Key Skills Required:

• Possess a Degree in Physics, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Proven experience in delivering technical support and expertise to customers.
• Familiarity with providing pre-sales product assistance.
• An excellent problem solver.
• Experience in representing customer feedback to the software development team.
• Outstanding communication skills, both in person and over calls.
• Proficiency in sharing best practice when using technical features.
• Ability to create customer User Guides.
• Experience in training the sales team on products.
• Capability to test features to troubleshoot and report on product performance.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.

Candidates with previous experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Application Engineer, or Technical Support Consultant will have an advantage.
