InterSTEM is on the search for a Solutions Engineer to join an innovative AI solutions company. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who combine technical skills with a customer-facing approach and excel in creative problem-solving environments.

Overview:

• Role: Solutions Engineer
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
• Location: Hybrid (office based in London, with minimal office visits required)

The Company:

Our client is at the forefront of integrating Generative AI features into client products. They offer a competitive salary of up to £75k and support a flexible, hybrid working model.

About the Role:

In this role, you’ll act as a consultant within software engineering, liaising directly with customers to understand their challenges and develop initial solutions. You’ll be involved in developing and testing prototype solutions, followed by collaboration with engineering teams for further development.

Tools You’ll Use:

While not required to be an expert, familiarity with the following tools will be beneficial:

• Slack for internal and external project communication.
• Notion for internal wiki, project management, and information storage.
• Figma for high-fidelity wireframing.
• Miro for design and mid-fidelity wireframing.
• GitHub for code version management.
• MLFlow for experiment tracking and management.
• Streamlit for app UI prototyping.
• Jupyter notebooks for prototyping and experimentation.
• PyCharm as the primary Python IDE.
• LangChain for LLM development.
• Microsoft Azure as the primary cloud platform.
• Google Workspace for document management, video calls, calendar, etc.

What We Need from You:

• Essential: Academic qualifications in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to 4 years of experience (ideal: 2-4 years) in a customer / client-facing role or as a consultant.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with MS AWS or Azure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to blend structured and creative thinking.
